DDS Logistics: 2008 was a good year despite the crisis, with turnover up by 20% The French publisher of software for transport and international commerce posted a consolidated turnover of nearly 6 million euros in 2008. DDS Logistics enjoyed sustained growth in 2008: its consolidated turnover (integrating activities of its subsidiary in China) has increased by 20% compared to the previous year. The French leader of TMS has managed to do well, despite the crisis. Important contracts have been signed with leaders of industry, major distribution chains and the European pharmaceutical sector. Among them, Gemalto, world leader in digital security and also the famous furniture and decoration brand, Alinéa. The initial activity in Asia is promising. A contract for the purchase of TMS and sourcing solutions was signed with an important local distributor in China. “These good results enable us both to strengthen our teams in France and Asia and to finance our R & D activities, such as the new module for monitoring levels of CO2 freight emissions,” emphasises Jérôme Bour, CEO of DDS Logistics. DDS Logistics remains confident about 2009. “The crisis favours the adoption of TMS solutions offering a quick return on investment,’ explains Jérôme Bour. ‘We can also count on our regular clients, who will renew their contracts and update their software solutions. The product we are offering is partly based on a Saas model, which brings in very solid regular turnover.” DDS Logistics plans to continue its efforts to develop exports in 2009 and to become the leading TMS provider in Europe. ![]() Les thèmes
