DDS Logistics speeds up its growth in Tunisia

The French TMS leader has just signed a deal with Tunisian forwarder MOHAB and is finalizing a partnership with a local integrator to distribute its software in the country. After China, DDS Logistics is deploying its activities in Tunisia.

The French TMS leader has just signed a new contract with Tunisian forwarder MOHAB. In a few weeks, the latter will be integrating the DDS Freight solution to support its transport operations (air, sea, road). This is the second deal DDS has signed on the Tunisian market. The first one was struck with forwarder SMTI (Société Méditerranéenne de Transport International). Many of the French and international players at the port of Radès (the first commercial port in Tunisia) use DDS solutions as GEFCO and Dachser for example.

And new contracts are in the pipeline! DDS Logistics is finalizing a partnership with a local integrator. Once it is fully trained in the use and integration of DDS Logistics solutions, the company will be in charge of distributing DDS Shipper and DDS Freight software solutions in Tunisia and within two years other countries of North Africa such as Algeria and Morocco.
“Maghreb is a growth market, where TMS equipment is still limited DDS Logistics sales manager Olivier Schulman explains. Cross-Mediterranean trade, especially via Marseilles is significant both for import and export. This is a market where our solutions have an important asset: they can calculate and convert currencies with three decimal places, a characteristic of the Dinar for instance”. In Maghreb, DDS Logistics holds all the aces.
