DDS Logistics takes over Narval Logistic Software With this takeover, international trade and transportation software publisher DDS Logistics beefs up its offer on the international forwarding market and gains a foothold in Le Havre. French TMS (Transport Management system) leader DDS Logistics takes over the team and the products of international transport software specialist Narval Logistic Software. The offer of the Le Havre-based company includes four flagship products (see box) that cover both international transit and road transport activities.
DDS Logistics CEO Jérôme Bour argues that the benefit of this move is threefold:
Armando Do Amaral, the founder of Narval Logistic Software who will be managing sales at the Le Havre branch shares this view: “With this friendly takeover we have the prospect of merging the innovative solutions of the two companies keeping the best of both worlds in terms of technology. The way to look at it is that skills and know-how will add up, which for clients will result in a more secure information system”.
DDS Logistics will offer Narval Logistic Software’s clients maintenance for existing solutions. This will be provided by the team that designed the software.
Narval Logistic Software was founded in 2002 and its clients include the following forwarders and carriers: Maison Jamein, Transports Buffard, China Shipping, BRAID Logistics Europ, Humann and Taconet, GMP, the Seafrigo group and more. Tweet ![]() Les thèmes
